The Duluth Kennel Club is a not-for-profit organization established in 1948 that is dedicated to the betterment of purebred dogs and the welfare of all dogs. Located in the Duluth, MN/Superior, WI area, the Duluth Kennel Club is a member of the American Kennel Club.
We hope during your visit here you will learn more about what we stand for and how we accomplish our goals. You are welcome to join us at our meetings to learn more about us and if you wish to become a member please visit our membership page and comeplete a membership application.
The following are some of the public service functions we provide:
Public Service Functions:
- Canine Good Citizen Test
- Emergency Veterinary Care Fund
- Educational programs on care, feeding, training, and grooming dogs
- DKC is available for the Therapy Dog International (TDI) test and has a registered evaluator available
- Local and national guest speakers
- Sanctioned Breed Match
- Annual Eye Clinic with a board certified opthamologist
- A referral service for information on a particular breed of dog
- Showmanship classes to learn show techniques
- Annual All Breed Dog Shows, Obedience and Rally Trials
- Distribution of American Kennel Club educational literature
- Micro Chip Clinics
- Quarterly meetings with informative and enjoyable programs (public always invited)
A Duluth Kennel Club membership entitles you to:

- Legislative updates on dog issues
- Club members’ awards and accomplishments
- Regional dog shows and events
- A video collection lending library
- An opportunity to volunteer at the all breed dog shows, obedience and rally trial
