You can sign up for any of the following:
Ring Steward-Outside: A good place for someone who is new to dog shows, but wants to become involved. This person works at the table outside of a specific show ring. Duties include handing out armbands to exhibitors, marking the catalog for armbands that have been picked up and communicating any absentees to the inside ring steward, calling for clean-up, calling photographer, etc.
Ring Steward-Inside: For the more experienced steward, this person works inside the ring with the judge, calling each class into the ring, getting ribbons ready for the judge, marking the stewards book with each class placement, and assisting the judge in whatever he/she needs.
Gates: Works at the show entrances to take admission fees and sell catalogs as needed.
Hospitality: Help to ensure that each ring has beverages available for judge and stewards, and may make "rounds" throughout the day to ensure that each ring has hard candies or mints, wet wipes, pens, Tylenol, etc.
